Coating Process Engineer

Own the day-to-day stability of coating processes that influence durability, clarity and the finished appearance of a lens.

What you’ll do

  • Monitor coating-line parameters, preparation stages and batch documentation.
  • Work with production and quality teams to investigate defects and reduce repeat variation.
  • Support preventive maintenance, process trials and continuous-improvement activity.
  • Maintain material traceability and ensure approved handling practices are followed.

What you’ll bring

  • A degree or diploma in chemical, mechanical, materials or production engineering.
  • Experience with controlled manufacturing, surface treatment or coating processes.
  • A practical approach to troubleshooting supported by clear records and data.
  • The ability to collaborate across operators, maintenance and quality teams.
